Delete your account

How to delete your DriverGuide account and the data that goes with it.

In the app (fastest)

Open DriverGuide and go to Me.
Tap Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

If you can't get into the app

Write to [CONTACT EMAIL TBC] with the subject "Delete my DriverGuide account". Tell us the phone number you signed in with, and send it from the email address you've used with us if you have one. We may text that number a code to check it's you. We will delete the account within 30 days, and tell you when it's done.

What is deleted

Your profile: name, handle, friend code, car and colours.
Your phone number, sign-ins and the phones signed in.
Your saved trip and totals, friends and friend requests, calls and news you sent.
The record that you agreed to the Terms and Privacy Policy.

What stays: totals with no name on them (for example how many people saw a billboard), which can't be traced to you, and copies in our backups, which are overwritten within 35 days. If the law requires us to keep something, we keep only that, and tell you.

Progress you have saved on your phone only is not on our servers. Delete the app, or use Settings in the app to start again.
